The transformation
The same floor — just rediscovered
Most floors that look beyond saving simply need the right hands. We assess the timber, repair what is needed, sand away years of wear and seal it for the years ahead — often at a fraction of the cost of a brand-new floor, and with far less disruption.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about restoring, sanding and sealing wood floors. Still not sure? Ask us — honest advice, no hard sell.
Can my old wood floor be restored instead of replaced?
Usually, yes. Most worn, scratched or even water-damaged wood floors can be repaired, sanded back to bare timber and re-sealed rather than replaced — often at a fraction of the cost of a new floor. Try our floor advisor for an instant restore-or-replace steer, or book a free visit and we will tell you honestly.
How much does it cost to sand and seal a wood floor?
It depends on the floor's size, its condition and the finish you choose, so we never quote blind. Our floor advisor gives you an instant ballpark range, and we confirm it with a free, no-obligation site visit.
Is floor sanding messy and full of dust?
Far less than people expect. We sand with dust-controlled equipment that captures the vast majority of dust at source, keeping your home clean while we work.
Can you repair gaps, splits or water-damaged boards?
Yes. We make good splits, gaps, lifting boards and water damage — replacing or re-fixing only what needs it and matching new timber to your existing floor before sanding and sealing.
How long will my floor be out of use?
Most rooms take a few days, depending on size, the repairs needed and whether you choose oil or lacquer (each needs curing time). We give you a clear timescale with your quote.
Which areas do you cover?
We work throughout Epsom and across Surrey and Greater London — including the KT, SM, SW, CR, TW, GU and RH postcode areas. Pop your postcode into our contact page to check.
