We’ve been looking after wood floors since 1986. Between us there’s nearly a hundred years of combined experience — and a genuine love of seeing a tired old floor brought back to its best.
Our story
Wood floor specialists since 1986
Carsons Flooring started out in Epsom and has stayed a proper family concern ever since. We don’t sub-contract the work out and we don’t cut corners — the people who quote your job are the same people who turn up and do it.
Over the years we’ve sanded, sealed, repaired and laid more floors than we could count, across homes, businesses and public buildings alike. That depth of experience means we can look at almost any floor and tell you honestly whether it’s better restored or replaced — and do whichever serves you best.

From a quick repair to a brand-new floor

Lifting boards, fixing squeaks, cupping and water damage, and making good worn or tired floors.
Renovation, sanding & sealing
Dust-controlled sanding back to bare timber, then re-sealing with hard-wearing oils or lacquers to bring the grain back to life.
Installation
Supply and fit of new wood flooring — solid, engineered and herringbone — laid by our own team.
Sub-floor preparation
Levelling, moisture checks and proper preparation so a new floor lasts the way it should.
