Installation
Supplied & fitted by one expert team
We supply and install solid, engineered and herringbone wood flooring — handling everything from sub-floor preparation to the final coat of finish. One team, accountable from first measure to the last board.
How we work
From sub-floor to finish
A floor is only ever as good as what lies beneath it — so we prepare every sub-floor properly before a single board goes down.
Sub-floor preparation
A floor is only as good as what is under it. We level, dry-proof and prepare sub-floors before any new wood goes down.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about choosing and fitting a new wood floor. Not sure what suits your room? Ask us — we will talk you through it.
What's the difference between solid, engineered and herringbone flooring?
Solid wood is a single piece of timber — a classic that can be sanded back for decades. Engineered wood has a real-wood top layer on a stable core, so it copes better with underfloor heating and moisture. Herringbone (and parquet) is a pattern laid in solid or engineered wood — a premium, statement finish. We will help you choose the right one for your room and budget.
Do you supply the wood as well as fit it?
Yes — we supply and install as one team, from sourcing the boards to the final coat of finish, so there are no hand-offs and one point of accountability.
Can you fit wood flooring over underfloor heating?
Yes. Engineered wood is usually the best choice over underfloor heating because it is more dimensionally stable, and we prepare and acclimatise the floor properly so it performs.
Do you prepare the sub-floor first?
Always. A wood floor is only as good as what lies beneath it, so we level, damp-check and sound the base before the first board goes down.
How long does a new floor take to install?
It depends on the size of the room, the sub-floor work needed and the pattern — herringbone takes longer than straight planks. We give you a clear timescale with your quote.
Which areas do you cover?
We supply and fit throughout Epsom and across Surrey and Greater London — including the KT, SM, SW, CR, TW, GU and RH postcode areas. Check your postcode on our contact page.
